All fraternities and sororities at Carolina are governed by student-run councils who plan educational programs, offer academic incentives, enforce policies, oversee recruitment and intake processes and, moreover, provide a support network and voice to the University and local community. Comprising 17% of the undergraduate student population, the fraternity and sorority community unites under these governing councils to improve the overall intellectual and educational campus climate. Four Councils The four councils are: St. Anthony Hall St. Anthony Hall is the only co-educational fraternity at Carolina and was originally founded as a literary and arts society.
